some help here plz - Guild Wars Forums

hi guys,

i have started out an ranger/necromancer and i am in old ascalon mission section with my friend. he has started a monk/warrior.
But i have to say that i am not quite happy with the results of my build so far, when i look at my friend and mine, he do a lot better then me. Have i chosen the wrong build or what is it?
If that's it i have another build in mind, mesmer/warrior.
Plz give me some information about this build too.

Dont pull out on a build so early in the game, ranger/necros can be a pretty mean combo. The skills you learn in pre sear may make him look not so cool right now but like with all builds you really need to play, gather more skills, and tweak your attributes on your own to get exactly what you want. I've been through several classes that didnt seem to work out right pre-sear but as I progressed, they tended to work out all right or even better then all right. There really is no "wrong" build per say, its just a matter of figuring out your play style and then building around that.
